You Ask - I Answer

The initial session is 60 minutes. In this session, we discuss and identify the goals of the client. Every following session is approximately 50 minutes long.
I practice from a base theory of cognitive behavioral therapy, which uses the client’s own logic center to challenge dysfunctional thoughts and or behaviors. I also incorporate Family Systems to uncover how our roles in our families affect us all. Attachment theory can also be used to understand how and why a person may feel and behave due to the varying quality of early childhood relationships. These are just a few of the many techniques that can be used to help us become aware of ourselves and begin to make a change.
$200 for a 50 minute session for either individual or couples therapy.
I use an industry standard application called SimplePractice to manage all engagement documents, billing, and notes. This software is a portal where you can fill out all the necessary documents, make payments, and confidentially receive communications. The portal is HIPAA compliant so know your sensitive information will be safe.
Life happens and at times we cannot make all of our appointments. If you find that you cannot make your appointment please notify me 24 hours prior to your appointment and there will be no cancellation fee. If you are unable to make a scheduled appointment and do not let the therapist know within 24 hours there will be a cancellation fee of $50 for the 1st instance. After the first instance, the cancellation fee will be raised to $80 for all other late cancellations.
